What to expect
Learn the foundations of building web apps with AI, from getting your computer ready to giving your AI coding tool a clear plan. We’ll work through the initial setup, explore the tools and services you may need, and start building a small app of your own.
What we’ll cover
- Set up your computer and AI coding tool for a first web-app project.
- Understand the tools and services involved, and what you need to get started.
- Create a product requirements document (PRD): a clear outline of what your app should do, who it is for, and what to build first.
- Use your plan to start building, run your app locally, and make your first improvements with AI.
What you’ll leave with
The goal: build and launch a simple micro app—a small, focused web app—that runs on your own computer, with a foundation you can keep working on after the Lab.
What you’ll need
- Bring your own laptop and charger. Each participant needs a laptop for the hands-on exercises.
- Have an active subscription that includes access to Claude or Codex, and be ready to sign in on your laptop. You only need one of these tools.
Admission to the Lab is free. Your AI tool subscription is separate and is not included.
